T.T.P. (Técnicas y Trabajo de Prevención), a construction company, with more than 100 employees in all of Andalusia, up and stopped paying its workers, without a second glance at how this would affect them. In response, the workers have declared war on the company.
In Seville, where a large portion of the staff is a member of the CNT Sevilla’s Various Trades Union and with their own Union Section, have started several actions which will not stop and which will only gain momentum until the company realizes that you can’t mess around with CNT.
Construction companies have been privatizing their huge earnings for years without the workers ever seeing a cent. Now they want to socialize their losses, making the workers pay for a crisis they’re not in any way responsible for. That is something we will not, cannot, allow.
On December 23, a solid group of TTP workers organized in CNT gathered in front of the Andalusian Employment Department to demand their salaries and openly naming the businessman behind TTP (Alfonso Pontes Jiménez) so that everyone who walked by could see the man who decided to stop paying hundreds of workers.
CNT is going to fight, showing that CNT is a powerful weapon for the workers. Organized and united we can start a new era brimming with hope and enthusiasm to create a better future.
Our actions will not cease. We call for solidarity and support from the rest of CNT and we’ll continue informing of our actions against TTP. Today more than ever, CNT on the street, CNT in the struggles, CNT against injustice and terrorism from the bosses.
