A Blow to the Flightcare
Handling Company
The
Labour Court nº 22 in Barcelona has declared the dismissal of
the delegate of the CNT Union in Flightcare invalid. The company must
reinstate the dismissed worker immediately.
The dismissal of CNT union delegate in Flightcare was motivated by
the fact that the union had constantly denounced the repeated
irregularities of the company repeatedly, culminating in few days of
strike during the month of August . Flightcare is a leader in not
complying with the existing labor law and violated the Basic Law on
Freedom of Association by dismissing the CNT union delegate on August
30.
The CNT positively
assesses this ruling, which is only the first demonstration of the
incompetence of Flightcare in its industrial relations policy and
notes that the repeated harassment of the union section of the CNT in
order to eliminate it will not be possible. It didn’t work before the
dismissal and won’t now that the dismissal has been declared
invalid. Even more to the contrary, the CNT will continue
defending the rights of workers in Flightcare and will not tolerate
the harassment of any of its officials and
members.
