CNT-IWA Cadiz’s Various Trades Union presents the following documents to the Labor Inspection of Cadiz if they could be used as proof of a crime or misdemeanor in which case they should be presented to the Courts so they can take the appropriate measures.
The minimum multi-industry wage for 2010 was 633 euros a month for a full time job. Anything for less was illegal. That said, the Andalusian Job Agency’s website openly lists job offerings for a monthly wage below the minimum.
The wage offered was below the minimum mult-industry wage. But there it was. Listing a job for less than the minimum wage is a crime and it is shocking that the Andalusian Government’s name is behind it. It could be committing or abetting a crime.
The assumption is that, as per the Constitution, the public authorities, including the Andalusian Government, should defend decent working conditions and stable employment, which makes this situation all the more outrageous.
To make matters worse it is a crime committed against a group of people, not just one person.
There aren’t only job listings that fail to respect the minimum wage in the public job agency. There are also ones which discriminate. There are listings that specify minimum and maximum ages which is prohibited. The law states that sex and age can only be specified when the contract so requests because it has some sort of subsidy but if this is not the case, it is illegal.
In our formal complaint we attach seven (eight in total) documents that contain some of these irregularities.
