Haciendo gala de sus maneras, la dirección decide sorprendernos un día anunciando que nos trasladamos de Bilbao al parque tecnológico de Zamudio. Lo justifican por causas económicas, de visibilidad y “desinversión” en temas de Seguridad y Salud.
Llevaban desde tiempo tejiendo estas medidas, sin contar con la plantilla, ni teniendo en cuenta el impacto negativo sobre las personas que trabajamos ahí. Algo normal en el proceder de unos consejeros que vienen de constructoras y banca, que un día se sientan para decidir sobre un periódico y al siguiente sobre una empresa tecnológica. Lo impactante es que tampoco han pensado en cómo influirá el traslado en el día a día de la compañía, que servicios quedarán parados y durante cuánto tiempo, plazos de traslado y orden en el que hacerlo por departamentos, costes del traslado, a día de hoy no hemos renovado con los actuales propietarios ni tampoco firmado con los de la nueva ubicación,… y queda un mes para completar todo. No se nos dice quién tomó la decisión, si fue el consejo de dirección o el recién despedido CEO. Bastante chapuza todo.
Como nos siguen tratando sin ningún respeto y no les importa que la plantilla tenga que adquirir vehículo, cambiar de guarderías a medio curso, cambiar su residencia, reducirse aún más la jornada para conciliar, gastos en viajes, horas en atascos,… les hemos respondido con huelga indefinida desde el próximo miércoles.
En las reuniones en las que ha estado presente la Sección Sindical de CNT hemos pedido datos(que llegaban a medias y tarde), compensaciones en caso de traslado para atenuar los perjuicios,.. nos dicen que no a todo. Sólo que en la próxima ubicación habrá plazas de parking aunque no para todos/as, alguna será nominal.
En las reuniones y ya con los datos hemos descubierto que el metro cuadrado es más caro a dónde nos vamos que donde estamos ahora. Entonces nos dicen que lo importante es la visibilidad, a eso les hemos planteado el tener una oficina central en Zamudio, a lo que han dicho también que no. En Madrid sí se tienen 2 oficinas.
Desde CNT pedimos que la empresa garantizara, al menos durante 2 años, el puesto de trabajo de todos y todas si hubiera traslado. Lo pedimos con el propósito de garantizar la inversión a la gente que comprará coche, reducirá salario, contratará guardería,… y también para evitar la espantada de compañeros/as. También dicen que no.
Ante tanta soberbia nos plantamos y dejaremos de trabajar y hacerles más ricos. Huelga indefinida hasta parar el traslado, y sentarnos a hablar para trabajar toda la plantilla por solucionar los problemas de liquidez que crearon los fondos de inversión cuando entraron en Panda. Esos accionistas que entraron sin fondos (capital) y pidieron préstamos para pagar al anterior propietario (actual acreedor).
¡SI PARAN EL TRASLADO PARAREMOS LA HUELGA!

VOTE YES TO THE STRIKE AT PANDA SECURITY!!. FIGHTING AGAINST A FORCED RELOCATION
Once more as happened in the past Company’s General Management suddenly announced us its intention to reallocate our Business at Industrial zone –Zamudio-. It is justified based on economic reasons involving matters regarding “Security and Health”.
It is fair to think that this measure has been planned since some time ago without informing us. The management unilaterally arranged a reallocation without counting with its employees and the dramatic impact that would involve to all staff. The style once more does not change. Top managers decide about the future of our lives without giving the chance to take part in the negotiations. The most surprising is that the reallocation notice came without any further information about how employees will be affected also professionally. Key information such as reallocation dates, schedules, costs, lay offs, etc. Not only that a lot of crucial information that should be delivered in a front- transparent way did not reach us but the decision as normal created a lot of confusion and uncertainty among all employees. It is not said who took this decision whether the Board of Directors or just dismissed CEO. It is left a messy situation which we have to deal without any positivity to be discussed with any representative of the company.
Since this managerial behavior once more underestimates and pulling down employees by no giving the chance to them or their trade unions representatives to negotiate conditions with Management, we were forced to respond by going for an undefined strike.
In the meetings where trade unions were presented, data has not been provided. No information about whether there would be employees affected by lay-offs, whether company is considering to provide some compensation package or additional benefit due to the reallocation, etc. Simply say nothing or no to any proposal from our side. Only statement regarding reallocation is that new site will include parking places but not for all.
During on-going meetings later on we noticed that the renting Price per square meter is more costly in Zamudio than in the current location. Management justifies it as really key factor to reallocate business is visibility. To this effect we proposed to have a main office in Zamudio which it was rejected by Management. In Madrid by the contrary company rents two offices.
From CNT we request that Company ensures Jobs for all employees if reallocation finally takes place. It is fair to request it since colleagues would have to incur in advances expenses due to the reallocation. People would be substantially affected including the necessity for some to buy cars, baby care services for kids, etc. Furthermore it is also important people can not lose many benefits with the reallocation since it happens many employees will decide to leave company. Again a no by response was listened from Management.
The Management put us in a situation of no way back. Its decision based leave us no other possibility that going on strike. Until the Management does not give us the chance to discuss the future of the company from both sides we won’t stop. Liquidity situation was fully provoke by new investors who came without capital but raising debt to pay former owner of the company.
